Thank you for breaking it down, Urs! I'm sort of curious about the CSS point. What do you think it is about CSS problems that AI seems to handle better? Is it the more declarative nature, or something about how layout logic works that just clicks with how AI solves problems?

First things first: This message was written by a human π
And this human is curious β if you use AI in your development, what sort of tasks do you regularly hand off to it? Testing, documentation, architecture guidance, code review...?
And on the flip side: Any tasks you never trust the AI with?

Last week, I started to try @jetbrains-rider.bsky.social built-in AI functionality to make large-scale code changes. I'm seriously impressed how well it managed to make significant code changes based on my (sometimes) broad requests.

Not to brag, but debugging @unity.com shaders pixel-by-pixel inside Rider is pretty slick ππ₯
The new Frame Viewer in EAP 6 opens RenderDoc traces right in your IDE. Breakpoints, stepping, vertex inspection - all there.

That's true, Shahab, perhaps we could've made it a bit more clear upfront. As of right now, the plugin is only compatible with Rider 2025.2 EAP builds. But the good news is that the 2025.2 release is coming very soon.

This screenshot from JetBrains Rider shows a tool window with logs and metrics pertaining to OpenTelemetry, as well as an architectural chart for a .NET application for the purposes of runtime observability.
We're stunned by the love our new #OpenTelemetry plugin for Rider has been receiving lately π€―
We thought "Hey, observability inside the IDE sounds useful" and gave it our best shot, but the response has been...wow.
Bottom line: No more dashboard hopping to optimize your .NET app! π jb.gg/ot-in-rd
