Jonah is more my flavor of awful, but still funny. Selena’s turns where she just lays into people, yikes! Jonah is a total asshole all the time, but it’s just so ridiculous and cracks me up.

I guess the gang on IASIP is awful too, but they’re awful and funny. Selina just treats people so bad, I think that is a big part of it. They’re awful on Arrested Development too (another of my faves), but again, awful and funny.

It’s Always Sunny is also a favorite of mine.

I recently saw a Top 50 Sitcoms list and Veep would for sure make mine, but they had it over a few I enjoyed way, way more. I just had too high of expectations I think.

Also, I love Julia Louis-Dreyfus in everything, but Selina Meyer is so awful.

I’ll add tho, I don’t usually like Sam Richardson in stuff, but he’s hilarious in this!

I thought that was probably my mistake. I’ve definitely liked the whole thing, but I expected to maybe find a new favorite show and I’m finding out that I’m not sure this will be one I rewatch. No regrets on this one time through though!

I’m enjoying Veep. But I saw comments about it being the ‘funniest show on TV’ and I’m just not enjoying it like that.

It’s consistent from episode to episode and has a ton of very funny people on it, and I’m enjoying it but just not LOVING it.

Talk to me. Maybe my expectations were too high?

I can’t think of a 4th, and I can’t necessarily say these are my favorite characters, but I definitely see me in these characters the most.

If I’m going for FAVORITE, I might swap out Harrison Ford and add Captain Holt from Brooklyn Nine Nine and Ron Swanson from Parks & Rec.

Just off the top of my head, I think most of my favorite characters also have very low interpersonal skills, but are NOT highly confident or highly capable.
