A groups paper in which they showed how they would separate their thanksgiving meals. It is broken into 20 plates where each must have turkey, a side, and a dessert.

Learners are Peking on drawing their feast. On clipboards on the right of them there is their budget. The left side of the sheet has the prices and serving sizes. The right has their list and how they will break up their food!

Happy Thanksgiving! In honor of this day I had my kiddos budget for their own thanksgiving dinner! #EduSky #EduSkyPrimary

There are so many benefits when having a computer class. It makes me sad they have disappeared. I think it really shows in how a lot of our learners interact with computers and the internet! I get just banning it though without that dedicated time!! #bfc530

I’ve used AI to help outline units, lessons, and change the difficulty of texts.

AI does make me think about our loss of dedicated computer classes. A computer class would be such an amazing place to address some of the worries. Address the bias, how to distinguish images, ETC. #EduSky #BFC530

Student using play dough to learn the make a ten strategy. They are rolling the play dough into balls and then placing it on a sheet that has the equation. The equation then has an area to further break apart the number to make a ten.

Something I have found helpful is using play dough to help teach the make a ten strategy! As the students roll the balls, place them, then physically break apart the numbers they see how the strategy works. Not only that but they get to have fun! #EduSky #EduSkyPrimary
