Something that has shaped me unexpectedly is seeing an animated movie about the crusades/middle ages in sixth grade and one nameless soldier says "This must be the end of the world! So much chaos and death." Everyone in every era of history faces the unthinkable and we can only hope to end it well.

listen I have seen endocrinologists provide handouts that treat all carbs as equally "bad" (fiber is a carb!) so I'm open to the idea doctors don't know enough about nutrition, the problem is the people screaming about it are invariably selling the least evidence-based supplement you've ever seen

Update/Scoop— New guidance sent this AM to Kansas DMVs indicates licenses that previously had gender marker changed not actually invalid yet. However, internally DMV can see who is flagged, and keeping track of who has/hasn't come in to update. Seems about 300 trans/GNC ppl flagged across the state.
