the hitbox update is also really good so people can’t hide behind a tiny ledge but it may hurt slider since it already struggles to hit things lower than it despite having a spherical hitbox (though hopefully that issue is helped a little by the 220 damage buff).

slider being one of the few burst damage specials to not destroy bombs really does make it such a terrible special. and as a dread one trick specifically, the startup and endlag of slider hurt it so much more than when it’s on aero or dapples because dread is a slower weapon that can’t leave easily.

I think the thing that offends me the most about splatoon 3's patches is that the developers keep attacking degenerate playstyles that only exist because of their own failures.

"l3 is being used to spam specials" no shit. you buffed hammer in the dumbest way possible and all l3 can do is paint.
