I wouldn't put this solely on Eby my friend. Political parties have been increasingly treating critics as enemies and threats for the past 40 years at least.

Tumbler Ridge is a small planned resource community, a winding 90 minute drive from the nearest city of at least 10,000 people.
A massive number of people are going to descend there tomorrow.
May those that arrive have respect and grace for the unimaginable grief.
The Stonecliffe Strata on Chilco Rd. View Royal, BC became the first FireSmart Recognised Neighbourhood in Greater Victoria for their year-long wildfire risk reduction work.
We all have a part to play in wildfire reduction.

Next week I'm attending the Conservative Leadership Convention in Calgary as an observer. Not because I'm opposition—but because I genuinely want to understand, listen, and build bridges with other engaged Canadians. We need more curiosity and less polarization. 🇨🇦 #cdnpoli

It took seven days.” A camp in eastern Chad is now home to more than 100,000 refugees of Sudan’s civil war, and is a key destination for those fleeing El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State. Resources are strained as the number of newly displaced people increases.

On the longest night of the year, people from Afghan, Azeri, Iranian, Kurdish, Tajik and Uzbek communities celebrate Yalda.
It is a time for family and friends to gather, recite poetry, tell stories told, and share foods such as watermelon and pomegranate. Shab-e Yalda Mobarak!

In Germany the only source of electricity that keeps growing and growing: renewable energy.
Solar and wind keep expanding and even though nuclear is no more coal generation has already shrunk significantly and keeps falling.
Q: “You said you would have no problem with releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd.”
Trump: “I didn’t say that. You said that. I didn’t say that. This is ABC fake news.”
Trump on Dec. 3: “Whatever they have, we’d certainly release. No problem.”

Committees like these enable volunteers to contribute their time towards building and maintaining a city.
Their time is worth millions of dollars and their advice saves millions more. Cutting these might save $160,000 in expense, but it will cost 10 times that amount to pay staff for half the work.
Marv, I'm so sorry to read your sister is missing. I join so many others in keeping an eye out for anything that might be helpful and fervently hoping she is back home very soon.

Grizzly attack on 11 kids & teachers in BC.
“one teacher jumped in front of the bear to allow the children to get away…he jabbed the bear’s eyes with his fingers and that’s how he was able to… how the bear just left him.”
“That teacher was later airlifted from the scene.”
Teachers are heroes.

This was the most exciting post season baseball in years. The @bluejays.com united a nation.
Heartbroken, but still so proud of that team.
Honestly, for Toronto and Jays fans that is an unforgettable, indelible, brutal way to lose. That is pure heartbreak, pure what-if, forever. And that’s part of what made that one of the best baseball games anyone will ever see.
