It took me a week or so to get good at 1 pedal, and now a few years later it's just automatic muscle memory. The only time I need to use the brake is when I get cut off or some other sudden change requires it.
I do still put my foot on the brake when I am stopped at a light or stop sign.

Yeah different folks have different issues and metabolisms and what not. I had a lifetime of bad habits, this is repairing my body, and I am more and more active as a lose more.
I could eventually go back to a "regular" or whatever high carb diet, if I remain more active, but meh I like what I eat.

Also, Keto = low carb high fat. Generally you need to be below 50g carbs per day, and you need to eat enough fat or you have issues with fatigue and other low energy things.
I do <25g carbs a day, I eat a lot of eggs, beef, lamb, salmon, sardines, chicken, some dairy (cheeses and butter), and nuts.

It's generally called Ketogenic Diet or Carnivore if you go no carbs at all.

I've lost over 100lbs and feel better than I have in years on the Ketogenic diet. It's basically permanent for me.
