The plan for my very first Entry Grade kit was always to break it for a future diorama. That happened sooner than I'd wanted, but I figured some used wires from an old light fixture might do for some "battle damage".

For anyone interested, this is Sloss Furnaces, an old industrial pig iron blast furnace that's been preserved for public use. Really incredible and beautiful place.

Awesome shots. This feels straight out of NieR Automata's early chapters. Would love to visit this or the huge abandoned bucket-wheel excavator in Germany at some point in my life. There's just something about industrial decay that makes for great inspiration for background art or worldbuilding.

I'm already having too much fun with this thing. I can only imagine how much time I'd spend posing something even more articulate like a Real Grade. He might be a little too large for that 3D cardboard puzzle though. That Himeji Castle isn't quite 144th scale lol

Grandpa's home. Ngl if an entry grade was already this much fun to build, I can't wait to get my hands on the more complex kits. I'm already eyeing ones from 08th MS Team.

There's literally a narrator in the next episode previews who just goes "X character will perish". It's the funniest shit, but at least the series has been good with showing the weight of it as it happens. I hope this isn't a thing by the time I get to Double Zeta.

So far, both the original Mobile Suit Gundam and its direct sequel Zeta have had a very bad habit of straight up spoiling the next episode's major plot points, including specific character deaths.

Seems WcDonald's is gonna have some stiff competition in the far future.

I almost don't wanna move onto Gundam Zeta and Double Zeta yet and just watch the compilation film trilogy just to see how they took that original story and fixed some of the funky late 70s animation.

Finally finished the original Mobile Suit Gundam. I had no idea that it went completely batshit insane by the last few episodes. I loved it. I'm sad it's over. I now get why Grandpa Gundam's still a popular thing. 'Cause that classic shit was great.
