I wish I could just redo this entire year. I would have spent more time with Goliath. And I would not have gotten this memorial tattoo afterward that has caused so much additional damage.

The only problem is there doesn't seem to be anyone on the east coast that does it. I met a woman who has EM and lives in Utah- she just went to a pain center in SLC and got an infusion done and it helped her quite a bit. So, it seems that I might be headed there in a couple months if all works out.

With that said, my doctor feels that my best bet is getting a lidocaine infusion done, where you get hooked up to an IV for a period of time and have the lidocaine circulate through your system. Apparently sometimes it helps 'reset' the pain signals, or helps with the sensitivity in general.

and I've picked up another diagnosis: chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS), in my right foot. The bad infection from the tattoo was what caused it. I was hoping the vein procedures would help with the additional swelling and pain on that side, but had no idea it was CRPS this whole time.

My PCP sent me to a different specialist who doesn't think the blood clot will migrate since it's stayed the same for a couple weeks now. We're just going to monitor it, I go back next month. I went to see my pain doctor today, we're doing yet another dosage increase...

I'm hearing that there are some that work differently and may not be as much of a problem, so I can call and ask my doctor tomorrow. But I'm NOT taking the second dose today.
