Read the banned books.
But also read the ones that could be banned. Ones from trans authors, Palestinian authors, and indigenous authors. Read the ones about black happiness and sapphic history. Read the ones from climate scientists and critical comedians. Read the romances and the horror novels.
Same. I love my front loader but I always leave the door open between washes.

The ICE camps are concentration camps. They should be called concentration camps.
It is, of course, important to distinguish between concentration camps and death camps, but also, I am not sure we will know when or if we undergo the transition from concentration camps into death camps.
I keep turning to my phone as if I'm going to discover the solution to all of my problems.
What's that Einstein saying again?

I'm a little late posting my full thoughts but the last third of this book had me locked in.
No spoilers, I love the way the family comes through this at the end (though it's not easy).
There is also a sign that their story could continue. 🤞🏾
Definitely worth a read this summer.

Yo, I started this and am loving it so far. Creepy while also showing a family dealing with grief.
Will post more thoughts when I'm done.
Just FYI, I started this and I am hooked! I'm only 37% in but it's good.
