First comic page reads: my love rides a carousel, my blood marks the time, my body turns and twists in the monster i must be. There are two hands on top holding a vial of blood, one red and demonic like. A silver carousel with horses, then Mars in the mid of a transformation, his armor growing to fuse with his skin. Under this, Mars laughing, drunk from power, then holding a hand to his face, that's in a different, brighter light in the last window/panel. There are spiral motif around and lights from the carousel.

Second page reads: my heart dances to the same song, my mind falling behind, but as long as you need it, your hand still in mine. On top, horses from the carousel forming bars of a cage; between two of them, a younger Mars drinks from a cup of blood, all dressed fancy. Under this, Mars in bed with Will, looking at his own twisted hand. To the right, Mars looking away, the eye showing maybe a tear; to the further right, Mars seen from his back, looking down. His back is covered in scars and bruises from the past fight. At the bottom, in a background of stylized stars, Mars is kissing Will's hand, holding it in his darkened twisted one.
