Sonic Blast on Game Gear wanted to be handheld Sonic & Knuckles with pre-rendered graphics, but it was not to be.

Awkward level design and physics, mixed with an art style that was rough to say the least!

The footage from the New Virtua Fighter Project at #Evo2025 was absolutely ridiculous. The closer you look, the more you notice. The facial expressions in particular stand out to me - seeing characters grimace in pain or look surprised really helps sell the combat.

This sounds great! It's amazing how allowing yourself to be vulnerable while you are performing can sneak up on you physically - I've been to a bunch of script readings where people break into tears halfway through a scene, even if it's not a 'sad' one. Just shows how much we typically hold in!

Pretty good reveal for the #NintendoSwitch2. A bit disappointed in the paid 'Switch 2 enhancements' for existing games, but the new stuff looks great. Glad to finally see GameCube in the picture too - more eyes on F-Zero GX!
