The world has become oversaturated with pop culture conventions. Even my dinky hometown (which isn't so dinky anymore) hosts multiple anime and comic conventions throughout the year. There's only so many events that people can afford to attend these days. Stop!

I have some out of normal Kanzenshuu scope stuff (comments, passages, etc.) I want translated for pet projects that I don’t want to ask them to do because of existing work relationships/priorities.

maybe we shouldn't be laying the blame at the feet of contractors for the poor pay

maybe people take jobs that pay poorly because they need the work and money, even if it's not ideal.

not everyone has the clout to push for better without threatening their livelihood.

Depends on how fast you're working through it.

My advice is to watch the current programming (they're building to their next PPV right now) and catch the recap/highlight videos on the AEW YouTube channel as a context supplement, but you can't go wrong no matter how you choose to do it. Enjoy!

Work just laid off all their seasonals 2 weeks early. I'm out of a job on Friday.

I don't know how to keep coping with this.
