Maugham writes: "She has made herself the data controller. I guess this reflects her evident desire closely to be involved in this crusade about trans people. I'm looking forward to making some subject access requests of her - and you might well be too." The privacy notice excerpt says: "Controller J.K. Rowling, as founder of the J.K. Rowling Women’s Fund, is ultimately the controller of specific types of personal data (as specified in paragraph 4 below) and responsible for those specific types of your personal data (referred to as JKWRF, “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy notice)." A reply from user Scott (@ClassicScott9) reads: "Sue him for legal harassment." J.K. Rowling responds: "You may be unsurprised to hear that my lawyers are currently watching Maugham's social media output with close attention."

Beyond being insanely stupid about GDPR requirements, JK Rowling is a massive cowardly bully who uses lawyers and legal threats to silence her critics while tweeting from her massive yacht.
