Two things:

1) this is really bad and Johnson should be hounded incessantly about this

2) this does seem a little like a “dry run” for shenanigans later, but as of January 3, 2027, there is an entirely new house, so it’s not automatically Johnson’s call to refuse to swear anyone in then
