Took some time to stop - zooming in/out across landscapes and #nature. Loved the magic of the water droplets.

Really insightful reading @superkev79.bsky.social - although sounds like such an ordeal and a tough few weeks. Hope things are improving now!

A #running round up over the last couple of months 📸

It's been very exciting to have had some extra events added to the diary - Especially with the variation from hills, to coastlines and forest trails. Such a pleasure to be out!

I love to document a tough adventure, but there is absolutely something about the short fiery runs that brings another level of challenge - Especially when running on sand is involved!

Really enough capturing the atmosphere at Tidal Trails 2/8km runs this weekend.

This was such good fun! Loved watching the challenges unfold, but the best thing was absolutely the people!

Weekend photography adds an extra logistical training element - however I still managed my own 30km run between it all too!

This weekend I'm at heart & soul festival covering 4, 12 and 24h runs around a 3.6km loop.

Really looking forward to this one as it's all about community and support to keep going. Lots of fab people I've come to know over the last year too!

(I'll also be throwing in my own long run somehow...)

They were absolutely flying!! My mind was blown as they were running past - like it was a track sprint 😬 absolutely amazing.

Had an amazing time at the Ras Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon Race this weekend.

The descending skills of mountain runners blows my mind. Loved shooting this!

Such a brilliant race - Wales also seemed to be the only place with sunshine.

This was a warm event up for Heart&Soul Fest in Aug - a fitness festival in the North East featuring a 12/24h looped race route.

Most importantly, a fantastic #community event & lots of connecting❤️

Had the JOY of running the western section the Southern Upland Way. It was truly magnificent.

One of those 'on top of the world' kind of runs, just myself, trails and sunshine for 3.5h. Such an incredible part of the world.

It's my dad's 60th birthday today 🥳 If it wasn't for his random suggestion of us all trying an #ultrarun I'm not sure if I would've discovered the joy! We're incredibly fortunate to share so many #adventures together.

But it also got me thinking, how did other people fall into the ultra world? 🤔

Absolutely👏my adventure, outdoor and journey "why's" are all fantastic, but the remembering the training and trusting that too.

Talking to myself at 3am also helps 😂

I mentioned the importance of mental training/strategies in #ultrarunning at the #Spine webinar this week - with one of mine the chunked-mini-milestones approach to distance. This summarises a handful of others & is a great starting point.

I arrived a little later, so didn't manage to get up the Cheviot. Looked extra fun with those bogs!! Hopefully cross paths again soon.
