the ending actually ended up being pretty good and had a good message, but the first 3/4 of this film was so bad. so much inaccuracy when it comes to serious mental illness. i also feel like the romance subplot wasn't developed, neither was maya's character. i wouldnt recommend.

so he told his psychiatrist about all of these negative side effects and they told him to keep taking the drug??? my psych is a shitty doctor and even she isn't that bad. if i tell her i'm experiencing side effects, she immediately takes me off. like she should, hello???

psychiatric med side effects dont generally start off with none and gradually gain them/get worse. it's usually the opposite. did whoever wrote this not do any research??
