The scratches are nice and she finds herself leaning her head into his hand. She does miss Jin Ling, a lot! She pulls back enough to look up at him, giving a quiet bark in confirmation. Maybe he’ll help.

She tilts her head to the side, eying the offered hand. She’s not lost, per se but she’s definitely missing her human! She creeps forward, wary to sniff at his hand.

[Oh, her human! She’s missed him. She comes running over with an excited bark]

[She sniffs his hand once, recognizing him and immediately pushing her head into his hand.]

Woof!

[This is at least a friend who doesn’t run! She trots over to him to sit before him.]

Woof!

[He was good! That’s reason to celebrate!]

She peaks an eye open, shifting to roll over onto her back, belly up. She’s not spoiled at all.

She heaves a heavy, happy sigh. She’s extremely pleased that he’s relaxing with her. Her eyes shut fully, tail wagging slowly, lazily behind her.

Fairy lets herself get closer, laying down to rest her head on his lap, eyes already beginning to close, relaxed as can be.

She’s in heaven, her tail thumping against the floor as she turns her head into his hand, tongue lolling out happily.

/ She IS. And she has a lot of love to give.

[She forgoes the treat to instead shuffle closer, butting her head against his leg, demanding pets. She HAS been looking after Jin Ling, but she’s happy to look after him too.]

[She bounds over her tail wagging quickly as she flops to the floor beside him. She’s missed him!!]

/ the CUTEST

[She perks up, her tail starting up again, her little tantrum all but forgotten as she scrambles forward to slobber wet kisses to his cheek.]

[He will always be her favorite, nothing could ever change that.]

[ She could make friends with a cat, though she’d never love it as much as she does him.]

[Shes not sad, she just has to share his attention even more. She’ll live. His happiness is more important.]

[She doesn’t like the idea of a cat, however she likes the idea of upsetting her boy even less. So, she’d put up with a cat for him. She’d do anything for him. So she acquiesces with a defeated huff.]

/ i always am tbh. they’re a set, incomplete without one another.
