I've seen discourse surrounding artists "peaking" at 30 and I just want to say don't fall for that trap!
I'll be 45 this year and I don't think I've ever been more resolute about my work.
Existence and perseverance is art; you can not PEAK yourself. Every iota of creation you make is a miracle.☄️

I chose an FIV+ cat because they have to live indoors. I live in a busy city, so an outdoor cat is a no.

Arnold was overlooked for 2 years. His name is Arnold because he was a muscly king of the streets in Greece. Didn’t have the heart to change his name! Now he’s a softie.

Sharing because of the cat breeder discourse.

Got Arnold for 300 euros to bring him home from Greece to London, and for his medical and vaccination clearance.

He is from an animal sanctuary - there are an estimated 2-3 million strays in Greece.

My cat Arnold is a FIV+ cat. They can live long, healthy lives and usually die of old age, not due to the virus itself.

They can live with nonFIV cats. It isn’t transmitted through sharing bowls, or litter boxes - but through deep bite wounds from fights. My cat has a nonFIV cat roommie named Rio!

A few months ago I had 5 interviews at Getty Images over the course of 3 months, hoping for a position. I got to the final stages out of hundreds of candidates. Despite the time and emotional investment, they went with other people, and I kept searching.

Today I got an offer and accepted 🥹
