I know part of growing up and having long friendships comes with lengthy periods of time when there’s no interaction.

Part of me hates initiating conversations.

I just wish my best friend talked to me more and sent me less memes.

Or perhaps I need more friends

Out of all the friend groups I’ve been, 1 has truthfully made me feel like I belonged.

And thanks to 1 person who was kind enough into her group of friends, I now have what feels like an extended family.

Imagine being friends with someone for years and once you drift apart, they don’t hit you up.

I’m like any other man. I don’t want to be a burden to anyone.
