Yes, I do draw also, mostly for myself. I went to an art school for comics and once out of it found that lettering was an easy way to break into the industry and have stuck with it.

I had the honor of lettering a Tom King, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair edits by Marie Javins story for the upcoming Supes/Spidey team-up book! Gambit shows up which reminded me I worked on his 1st appearnce at Marvel long ago. Now I can quit comics because it's all gone full circle. ;)

From last Saturday to this Saturday I've lettered 120 pages...now this is all I see when close my eyes...time for a break!

At times I forget I have dual citizenship which I had done last year. I haven't really done anything with it but it's good to know I have it considering things these days.

Please enjoy this original Torpedo drawing by Jordi Bernet I bought from a German art dealer a few years ago.

Looking at a copy of Wolverine #90 I hand lettered and I was reminded of how much work it was to letter because of the multiple pullouts. None of the lettering was done on the actual art but on vellum overlays over taped together xeroxes and then sent to Marvel where it was pasted up onto the art.

Yes, that works and is more of an English way of pronouncing it. The French love to draw out the S’s so Brosss-OH.

Happy Birthday to my dad who would have been 100 today! I highly doubt he would have made it to 100 but, hey, it would have been nice. Here he is on the left with my Uncle Norman enjoying the sun on the shores of Old Orchard Beach, Maine sometime in the late 60s.
