letting go of twitter for me means letting go of a chunk of human connection that I don't know I can manage without in one of the loneliest times of my life. which is sad to admit Ik but it's the truth lmao. the site is fucking awful, I really want to fuck off but I don't want to feel even lonelier

like I know nobody is even reading this. I'm a very solitary person irl, the internet has been my primary way of connecting w others since I was a teen - that's what it is for! or was... its enshitiffication has made that increasingly harder, the point really is getting lost

a part of me can't in good conscience keep using twitter but it's also the only socmed I've ever vibed with and managed to build a (very small) following in, only reason I haven't left yet is it's the only corner of the internet where I actually interact w people
