I love Obsidian to keep track of everything, it's like a personal wiki because you're able to link files very easily. Lore, characters, locations, everything's in there. I've recently started using it for actually writing as well, though I'm more of a "write on paper and type it later" kinda writer

i think its understandable why artists can churn out personal art quicker than comms sometimes, I mean if I get my own characters details wrong or its a bit inconsistent, its not gonna hurt anyone, but for a paid piece of work uh YEAH, there's real stakes in it now!
