im trying to give it a chance bc my gf knows im being a hater and i have high standards for a franchise this big, but come on...

i can respect wanting a variety of creative visions and experimenting with game design, but not feeling it with this one (so far, opinion may change later)

dont get me wrong, I love RE as a franchise but the gameplay decisions mixed with the pacing in the first half of the game is Not It for me.

They are not capturing the vibe in first person with Grace as they did with Ethan in the past games. I like her, but it feels not as tense.

I doubt any of my fics I wrote when I was 13-15 exist anymore bc of the purges
