This is about maintaining a virtual slave class too afraid to make any noise about their mistreatment. These are people who didn't hesitate to separate families to instill such fear. I don't expect them to respect anyone's rights or dignity now.

As a resident of a Latino neighborhood in Chicago, I'm a bit anxious about what's going to go down this week. I don't believe they really want to deport all immigrants--that's economic suicide. But I'm sure they want to make the immigrant community terrified and submissive.

Can I stay off FB for a week? Guess we'll find out.
