- Render the unit to a headless canvas
- Position headless camera
- In-memory screenshot
- Bind screenshot copies to UI

My sprite fade out method wasn't removing drop-shadow shaders, which pins the mannequin (bottom) layer's alpha channel to 1.
So every time I tried to do a fade out, my sprites stripped naked before disappearing.

I think a lot of people are feeling "Games are dying as a career," but vocalizing it as "Games are dying as a medium."
It's hard not to see the current moment as an employment void for thousands with no recovery in sight, and I feel that.

I just had this last week with the boss at the end of Zanarkand.
Devs pull a "you die to cheese" mechanic, then you get to watch 5 cutscenes.
At Zanarkand:
- Don't remove zombie, or
- Cast auto-life
None of this upsets me as much as Bevelle Temple, though. That cloister is the playthrough ender.
