All of this to say...

After upgrading my computer, I had no more excuses to run to. I DJed live in VR for the first time outside of small tests I had done maybe a year ago with some friends.

The nerves almost pushed me to play a pre-recorded set I had made, but I didn't.

...and it went amazing.

There's been so many times that I've let nerves and anxiety push me away from doing something I'm passionate about, and it always leaves me with this empty, defeated feeling.

I've recently been tackling some of these issues, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone, and it feels so freeing...

Oh hey! First show after taking a mental health break and it's for one of my favorite places to play for!

I cried. The fact it's finally coming out is so nice.

After a well-needed mental health break, I feel like I'm finally ready to jump back into the scene and play a couple events.

Don't wanna spoil anything specific quite yet, but expect a couple sets from me in the near future!

As much as I love DJing, I've also enjoyed making visuals for sets. VJing has let me step back and really highlight some amazing sets, and for that, I wanna say thanks to the people / places who've given me that opportunity.

It's been a fun ride.

Been really enjoying tinkering with visuals here recently. Resolume is much less scary than I initially thought it was. Still tinkering around setting up a workflow that works for me, but it's been really nice.

Now I just need to find more quality loops to use...
