His statement says otherwise.. but I typed "Math Rock Chiptune" into Suno AI and the results sound the same to me.. especially the drums and leads sound identical.

youtube says they'll do "auto dubbing" of videos now and I guess ok fine if I have to have it... but could they not do the dubbing into some generic computer voice, instead of trying to recreate MY voice for it? would feel better if it was a known "dub" voice instead of trying to match it to mine

Funny story about this game. I decided I had to have it. Not sure if I saw a review in a Nintendo magazine or what but 18yr old me needed it. I went to the mall and picked it up. If I remember it was like 49 bucks or something which to me at the time was a TON. I got the game and went straight to Aladdin's Castle arcade and played a few games. Dumb 18yr old me left the game by the last game I was playing and started playing another. By the time I realized I'd left the game on the ground by another console it was too late. Gone. Stolen. I was so intent on getting that game, I immediately went and bought another and my stomach was sick while I was doing it. I just spent almost 100 bucks on a game. Got the game home and guess what. Total shit.

this Reddit comment about SNES game "Drakkhen" really got me. sorry to OP, sometimes having a good story to tell is worth $100 though

I thought MeatballWiki might have something on this, but I can't find it now. They do strongly emphasize ForgiveAndForget (meatballwiki.org/wiki/Forgive...) - mod log should probably auto-expire (or hide to others) after the event is X amount of time old. Don't keep a permanent record for years.

I am a huge fan of public moderation actions. There's a tendency to resist it because of "privacy" or creating a village square stocks effect for gawkers... but I do think the benefits outweigh. It provides other users with real examples of what gets you in trouble, and it's a check on mods too.

Skill issue, imo. I could easily beat those odds.

I have been thinking lately about how sites handle site-wide conflict and at this point I believe when a crisis strikes, you should basically close registration (or impose a 48 hour wait on new users) to stop exactly this.
