Please share this thread. It is important that political scientists, in Europe and across the world, understand why EPSS exists and why we are encouraging people to attend our inaugural conference, in Belfast next June.

EPSA have announced that they will hold a conference in July 2026.
😵💫 We understand that there might be some confusion about EPSS and EPSA.
👉🏽 So we thought we would clarify some things.

Can AI Make You A Better Beer Drinker?
At the Mikkeller beer festival in Copenhagen
New, from me (and featuring @asmusletholsen.bsky.social): I traveled to Copenhagen for the Mikkeller beer festival.
My purpose was to resolve the question: Can AI make you a better beer drinker?

First single-authored paper finally published in @bppjournal.bsky.social! 🎉
With 3 experiments, I tested whether perceiving corruption leads to corrupt intentions & dishonest behaviors among 1,356 pub employees.
I found: NO overall causal relationship.

The Biggest Loser in Wisconsin
The richest man in the world could not buy an election
New, from me:
Elon Musk is the biggest loser in Wisconsin.
His brazen effort to buy a state supreme court did not just fail - it undermined his image of political kingmaker.
This is the clearest indicator that voters are angry with Trump/Musk agenda.

P1 Orientering | Tirsdag 11. feb. 2025 | DR LYD
