what a beautifully designed boss fight. first boss fight in this game to crack my top 5 of Hollow Knight. Holy shit

Silksong is like Dread. incredible sequel, feels like part of the same series but you don't get the Hollow Knight itch from it. It's completely immersive and fun in it's own way that doesn't step on the toes of the original at all

Metroid Dread on the other hand, another great sequel!! But it's very different from Metroid 1. New world, new items, completely different feel. also immersive but not in the same way as Metroid. you can't really scratch the Metroid 1 itch by playing Dread, you have to play 1 or Super or the remake

Super Metroid, amazing sequel! super atmospheric super immersive so so so fun.

But it's also trying to do the exact same thing as Metroid 1. I mean it's literally SUPER Metroid. even takes place in the same map, has a lot of the same upgrades (just better) and gives you the same thing as Metroid 1

idk if anyone will get what I mean but I'm really glad Silksong is a Metroid Dread type sequel instead of a Super Metroid type sequel
