Be ready to follow news developments over time.

A lost generation of news consumers? Survey shows how teenagers dislike the news media You don't have to tell Cat Murphy or Lily Ogburn about the attitudes of young people toward journalists.

“Some of this (attitude) is earned, but much of it is based on misperception," says NLP's @peteradams.bsky.social in this @apnews.com story.

The News Literacy Project has added a label that says “MISSING CONTEXT.”

✔️ YES: A video that shows an electric school bus fire in Montreal is genuine.

❌ NO: The video is not evidence that electric school buses are prone to fires or more dangerous than traditional buses. And the fire was not caused by the EV battery.
