I really think that the Mephiles stuff in Shadow gens could be turned into a full game I would kill for a full story about Mephiles trying to break back into the canon

really loved everything they did with Mephiles specifically, however small

the small touches made the fight great despite not being an insane fight on its own

Shadow Generations was phenomenal, definitely the way the series needs to go moving forward

solid story with great details, great levels, very fun powers to mess around with and actually really good animation and cutscenes

contender for one of the best Sonic games, just needed to be longer

for a final level there's definitely better choices yeah, doesn't feel like the final one at all

but still for the level itself the location wasn't really an issue as I played it, mostly just how it drags on and on and on

I don't think the level choice is responsible, just the level design makes it drag on

good remaster, writing changes were pretty ok (not a fan of the Amy changes or some oyher random interactions but whatever) but they definitely needed to change some of the animations to match

wasn't a fan of the last area mostly but all the other levels were great, favorite was Rooftop Run

did a trial on Sonic Superstars earlier and while I didn't get far but I played wasn't that bad

those bosses were pretty shit tho
