This looks like a JQR deck which is the greatest compliment that can be bestowed upon a 40 card deck.

What if we're serious about it? Using fetchlands and Invigorate and stuff.

It seems wrong to me that there are players who are more likely to make a putt from 35 feet than 30 feet and the footage clearly shows that a reasonable portion of the step/jump putts aren't legal

I understand that. But you are only allowed to follow through outside of C1. If this rule is expanded to C2 instead I think it becomes less of an issue.

Unless you can change the culture where people actually enforce the rules properly I don't see a better solution personally.

I want circle one abolished, if you want to throw your c2 putt from mid air I don't really care

I like the theory though

It's also a bit awkward for blind shots because then you need to go check without picking up your lie and then go back and either pick it up or throw again

But bbe is card advantage

Yea, quite a few. Auroral Procession is going to be a cool glue piece in several decks. Songcrafter Mage is great where it's castable. There are a bunch of graveyard matters cards that work well alongside Insidious Roots which is where I'm excited to try Colossal Grave-Reaver.

I think Colossal Grave-Reaver has some cool Canadian Highlander applications too
