but you NEED it or some of the crucial layers/angles of the epilogues simply Do Not hit the same. the solution is to get weird w it but no one except the indies want to do that!!! and they would NEVER get the rights to something at this scale!!!

it just doesnt bend that way theres too much happening and so much of it IS necessary for later themes/ideas that you literally cant remove it without collapsing the whole structure even though trying to put the whole of like. kaizenix. into a film is going to glaze peoples eyes over in seconds.

and i think that requires a level of creativity/freedom of expression that, as you said, Big Studio is just not going to gaf about. even trying to cram orv into a movie franchise couldnt and wouldnt work

YEAH its like you cant translate the same kinds of weirdness happening in orv into a film 1:1 because so much of it is specific to orv being a novel and particularly a webnovel. you just cant do it. so you need to find something analogous to it and play with THAT instead

orvla COULD have been interesting in playing with that visual aspect and how like. idk. maybe something with how your visual perception of an individual is a kind of "reading" that you're doing of them in a way, vis a vis blurring kdjs face, filming from first person, etc.
