I’m a little disappointed Black doesn’t know better.

I sometimes think about the relatively short period in which he was cast in remakes… playing parts originated by Charlton Heston, Cary Grant and Michael Caine. Like some kind of horrible reverse Evolution chart showing “the Descent of Man.”

Same. Love most of Black’s output but Marky Mark is just a flat no for me. Nothing can overcome my revulsion for Mr. Hate Crime.

If you weren’t a teenager in the 80s, I don’t know that there’s any value in watching those three movies now. If you were… their sole value is nostalgia. But I was a teenager in the 80s and I have no desire to revisit them (and their casual misogyny and racism, etc.)

Friends… never did much for me.

Honestly, I always thought that line was odd, and my guess has always been this:
