Also managed to score a couple ft3 of wood chips after a neighbor across the street had their trees trimmed. The contractor was not bothered at all to dump them in my yard before they wrapped up for the day. Exchanged contact info, showed him how to open the gate. Please, anytime, ese.

The electric dryer is next on the list for replacement with a heat pump, and after that it’ll be an EV, but one step at a time, amirite?

I would like to formally thank @techconnectify.bsky.social for normalizing what I previously believed were crazy-ass expectations of how our homes should work. Seriously, bro, thank you. I now have heat pump heating and cooling, a heat pump water heater, and an induction cooktop and electric oven.

I’m going to be honest, I stopped watching the Mariners a long time ago. They built Safeco (I’m still going to call it that), and I went to a bunch of games there that I really enjoyed, but after sitting in center field for that game 5, everything after felt like a let down. That 15 inn. tho? Woof!

Having been at that game, I can’t believe it’s taken 30 years for the Ms to finally surpass it. Kind of makes me wish I was still living there.
