I feel like, for those of us who are left, we have a duty to become those kinds of role models you were looking for for someone else.
Like it’s kinda tough since there are fewer of us to lean on but I think it gives us a greater opportunity to have a positive impact on those looking for guidance.
Especially now in my 30’s I would say I feel a stronger compulsion to work on my legacy. Not because I fear actual death on the horizon but because you never know if/when life will pull you away more permanently and I want to make sure I leave things for the people who come after me to latch onto.
