Visit Port Watson!

Remember "Visit Port Watson" in Semiotext(e) ? the short story (by "Anonymous", was it Peter Lamborn Wilson himself ?) was simultaneously a reference to Hakim Bey, Burroughsian pirate utopias, and at the same time foreshadowing the future "crypto-libertarian" trend..

I found interesting the relationship between D'Olivet and Levi. Not really surprising (D'Olivet was a great influence on Levi's French successors such as Papus), but I didn't know for sure that Levi himself knew d'Olivet. I wonder if HoΓ«ne Wronski was a possible intermediary between the two.

Are there a lot of MAGA witches in America? I know of course about MAGA ceremonial or chaos magicians (living in France where RenΓ© GuΓ©non is an idol, this right-wing turn doesn't surprise me), but I thought witches were more or less immune...

Autonomous Zones and the Weird Rise of Authoritarian Anarchism From Hakim Bey’s Temporary Autonomous Zones to today’s crypto-libertarian strongmen, decentralisation has morphed into a volatile mix of deregulation, police power and anti-democratic ambition.

Meditation And Mindfulness Have a Dark Side We Rarely Talk About Since mindfulness is something you can practice at home for free, it often sounds like the perfect tonic for stress and mental health issues.

Surprise, something efficient can have side effects !

Another definition came to me from my mentor Owen Rowley:
"Reality is that which will kill you if ignored long enough."

Between those two there's a lot of room to play

Heraclitus: β€œThe Aeon is a child at play with coloured balls." I reckon most of reality is that sort of play

Brain train game may help protect against dementia for up to 20 years Adults who played a specific type of cognitive speed training were found to have a dramatically lower risk of developing Alzheimer’s, new research finds.

Seems interesting and promising. But this game (like other brain games, such as the famous "dual n-back") is utterly boring. It seems to me that these kinds of tasks should be integrated seamlessly in real video games, with a real scenario and a real universe.
