Next week at the #GSA2025, I'll be presenting my newly developed Python tool, 𝒑𝒚𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒆𝑹𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓. We apply it to quantitatively re-examine the correlatability of Cascadia deep-water turbidites, previously interpreted as synchronous deposits of paleo-earthquakes.

Desert Racers Demolish Art Carved by Ancient People in Chile Preservationists say governments at all levels have failed to prevent authorized and illegal off-road racers from driving through giant figures of animals, humans and objects.

Off-road vehicles racing through Chile's Atacama Desert have destroyed ancient geoglyphs over decades of competitions. Authorities have been unable to stop them. The images of the damage are striking.

Confession: I don't use *any* reference manager. I've tried various ones numerous times over the years, but nothing stuck. I just get it done. When I told some grad students this recently they looked at me like I was an alien. But, hey, papers get submitted, papers get published, I'm fine with it.
