I'm beyond exhausted after Gideon's soccer tournament and Nora's party yesterday, but we still took a little walk this afternoon. Gotta soak up all of the Autumn.

Nora finally got to celebrate their birthday with friends tonight. They got lots of handmade cards, bracelets, puppets, and masks. What an awesome group of humans. I love watching them grow!

Friday nights are for ice cream, spooky songs, and Halloween light tours with the kids!

Did you see the protest?

There were dancing unicorns and joyful frogs, line dancers and church choirs, marching bands keeping rhythm, and veterans standing tall for democracy.

People of every shade, faith, and political leaning came together. It was passionate and patriotic. I’m so proud of us.

It's a good day to send some postcards and put my faith into action. The Unitarian Universalist values are: interdependence, pluralism, justice, transformation, generosity, and equity. It may be simple, but even disabled resistance counts!

Aida and Gideon went to their first concert last night! They felt so special! I love making memories with them.

Spencer and I will be attending this event again. We really enjoyed it last time. If you're looking for hope and a glimpse of others dreaming of a better future, this is an easy place to find it. Figured it was worth sharing. <3

Right now I’m crocheting a weather blanket as part of the AODA curriculum. It has been such a great spiritual discipline. This would be even better!

Today was a long day of tests at the hospital. Even the smell of medical offices is starting to trigger my anxiety these days. But as soon as we got home, a rainbow appeared, with the sun peeking through the trees. It looked like the perfect early autumn scene. This season is such a gift. #druidsky

The kids picked up another virus from school, but we still managed to celebrate Spencer’s birthday! We went for a walk and baked a pie together. Once the kids are feeling better, we’ll plan something a bit more fun. Having someone as enduring as Spencer in your life is always worth celebrating.

We kept our Autumn Equinox celebration simple this year. We did a nature walk, baked a homemade loaf of bread, drank cider, and ate apple pie. I love making memories with these amazing humans. ❤

I'm planning a festive Autumn meal for the family! I'm thinking a roasted veggie soup, sourdough rolls, apple pie, and apple cider. On top of that we will do a nature walk and get out our little gratitude tree! I love Mabon!
