One of the finest bands. When I read about young Roddy & Co being influenced by R.E.M. it all made perfect sense. Live they absolutely raise the roof whether they're rocking or being laid back. Seeing them for umpteenth time on Dec 30 in Edinburgh.

1995 was the last time Montrose FC won on the road at Alloa (& I was a baby reporter on the local paper). Great performance from the boys this afternoon grabbing 3 points here for the first time in 29 years!

A winter wander on Moncrieffe Hill near Perth. It's lovely to be out in the crisp December air, amongst the big trees and Pictish hill forts.

On Dec 7, 2020, we lost legendary Doug Scott. Known for bold first ascents like Changabang (1974), The Ogre (1977), and new routes on Everest (1975), Kangchenjunga (1979), and Shisha Pangma (1982), he also completed Seven Summits in 1995. His legacy inspires us all.
