If you’re given a fair chance to present your voice, and choose not to, regardless of if you agree with the outcome, it is still a vote for the majority.

As for the actual situation presented, a supermajority of those that spoke made their decision. And those that abstained have to deal with it.

Either way, not voting *is* a vote. A vote for the majority.

Almost 900 members were given the chance to vote. Those that didn't can be taken as "I agree with the majority." If that's not what they meant then maybe they should've voted.

Also, "over a quarter" can also be stated as "a small minority." Generally 2/3rds is seen as a supermajority.

Because to them, "The people have spoken and denied your claim." Is merely an invitation to try again but sneakier. They will never take no for an answer, so the matter must be forced.

This just shows that merely defeating these people in a vote isn't enough. That *always* needs to be followed up with outlawing the hateful organizations, and prosecuting individuals if need be.

I used to see her almost daily at work. At least I assumed it was the same one, kind of hard to tell.

After about a year she stopped showing up. I just assume she moved elsewhere, the alternative would be sad.
