I only ask because this was my first rescue dog. He was a Briard. I rescued him when I was living in Germany and his ears had been cut and glued before he came to live with me.

My great grand uncle, Chief Superintendent Arthur Thorp was the founder of the Fraud Squad. He also went to Germany after WW2 to help them restructure the Criminal Investigation Department (Kriminalpolizei).
