31.07.2025 18:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Saw Superman with the kids. Everyone loved it. The message was simple: Kindness is power and stick up for the disadvantaged if you are in position to do so. Values we should all want to promote to future generations! Well done @jamesgunn.bsky.social

14.06.2025 15:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Me in January: βJust get to the start of June and itβs smooth sailing.β

13.06.2025 00:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Are there any good caves for sale in the Smokey Mountains that I can move into? No cell service or WiFi is preferable
13.06.2025 00:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sorry late GenXers/Elder millennials, you did not hit the generational jackpot
13.06.2025 00:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Boomers will end the world before their time is up
13.06.2025 00:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Remember when these folks claimed to be less government "tea party" types? lol...
12.06.2025 19:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Amazing. Literally just introduced Space Balls ( I guess now SB1) to my son who thinks its a riot. THE SCHWARTZ!
12.06.2025 19:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Weird watching Democrats and the GOP swap positions on federalism and limited government.
12.06.2025 19:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Has anyone done the math on the estimated cost per arrest/cost per deportation based on the Pentagonβs $134 million price tag for a 60 day mission in Los Angeles? (Which doesnβt include local law enforcement expenses)
I bet the averaged out $ per deportation is through the roof!
Aide: "Mr. President, grocery prices are going up, not down."
President: "Blow up Los Angeles!"
Everything about the events in LA is an insult to Americans' intelligence. If you need a manufactured riot to sell a "big beautiful bill" in Washington, it should tell you everything you need to know.
08.06.2025 14:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The bunch of MAGA delicate flowers rallying around Miller after the post by the ABC correspondent is hilarious.
And yes we're talking about the same Miller who was retweeting racially triggering images from 90's LA Rodney King riots as of last night.
Being an asshole is part of the brand - own it.
The over-the-top made up showdown in LA is simply a marketing push for the "Big Beautiful Bill" and that is beyond disgusting
08.06.2025 13:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Crisis event manufactured by the federal government designed with the intention to provoke so force can be used. Classic propaganda tool of 20th century fascists bent on stripping away freedoms in the name of aspiring dictators draped in a flag. Depressing to see this tactic deployed in America.
08.06.2025 12:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I fully expect California to be its own country by 2036. Possibly Texas, as well, but for polar opposite reasons.
07.06.2025 23:35 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβll probably share more thoughts here over timeβinsights, challenges, the strategy behind the work.
Always open to conversations about communications that actually move people and make a difference.
That often means helping clients navigate complex public-facing issues, policy landscapes, or internal alignment.
Strategic communications and marketing arenβt just about messagingβtheyβre about building trust, moving audiences, and supporting meaningful change.
I havenβt talked much about my work here, but itβs a big part of what I do.
Through my firm, Nexus Public Affairs, I work with campaigns, companies, and mission-driven orgs to help them communicate more clearly, strategically, and effectively.
Meta isnβt fixing safety. Theyβre cutting oversight, scaling risk, and lobbying to make someone else take the blame. Itβs not just reckless β itβs strategic.
www.npr.org/2025/05/31/n...
This isnβt about protecting kids.
Itβs about offloading liability before their next-gen platform causes even more harm. And itβs happening now β just as theyβre scaling back the very teams who used to catch and prevent this.
So instead of investing in better oversight, Meta is lobbying to shift responsibility to Apple and Google through app store-based age verification. Because when the AI fails theyβll say: "The app store let them in. Not our fault."
