I highly recommended this game. It has moments where my gamer rage and desperation came out, but overall the gameplay is satisfying, and the story is cool. Theres a lot that was left to interpretation, we felt.

I had no idea all those silly lil rock piles we passed had a name. It was literally the whole game. And you can interpet it in both "memorial" and "landmark" as you see fit. Every tower of stones signififying "I was here" from someone unknown, while wrapped in red ropes. Just like the corpses above

Throughout our run on stream, chat and I talked about the themes of death on the journey Aava took. That much was clear. All the bodies you see, the never-delivered notes to loved ones and the impossible task above. But why "Cairn"? The protag is called "Aava". The mountain is "Kami". Well...
