Believer in the American Dream, The one Captain America stands for. I believe that it is very far from perfect, and we have a long battle ahead, but it will be worth it. I am an ally. I am trying to be a better person. I am very taken. Please don't PM.

To be fair, likely even simple operations are likely well over his head. His briefings were likely dizzying from his perspective. So of course he was impressed.
Not to cast shade on the planning. I am sure it was highly competently executed. Just saying that he isn't a good gage of the complexity
I'm tickled.

If you back someone into a corner, bully them, abuse them and threaten them it's a bit difficult to sell the narrative that, because they look like they are going to swing, THEY are the aggressors.
But this is the regime's only trick. Abuse people until they strike. Then claim they are the baddies

TOS had biracial kiss. Women and people of color were in command positions. Several episodes ("Let this be your last battlefield" and others) were specifically commentaries on racism.
And let's talk about "Patterns of force" for a moment. An episode that Mr Miller probably wouldn't like at all.
I literally watched that on loop far more times than I really should have.
So cute.
It's almost like that's what is supposed to happen in a healthy democracy.
One would imagine that any Speaker of the house would not only understand that, but respect it. And not put it up as a reason to fear.
Almost like he's supposed to represent the people. Not a political party.

I am a big believer in that we will eventually have to come together, look past our differences and become whole again.
But I don't believe I need to coddle people who refuse to see the harm this regime is doing to this country.
It will have to come. But not now.
And specifically ensured that they were not trained in constitutional law, citizens' rights, limits of police authority or de-escalation tactics.

From a psychological standpoint every thing about that outfit is designed to instill fear. And not just in people doing illegal things. It is designed to cause fear in everyone.
Law enforcement SHOULD instill safety and security for the population. Otherwise it is just tyranny.
Maybe 15 years ago. 10 years ago we were already seeing rising public support for this type of thing.
