I think we often give social media brainrot too much credit for making people horny for odd shit. I guarantee you people who want to fuck trains pre-date not only this platform, but also the concept of social media, the existence of the Internet, and the advent of modern telecommunications.

the magical girl is also often gone to fight monsters made of people's dreams or whatever, sometimes for days or weeks because they're at a season finale, and the antihero gets some GOOD-ass brooding in during that time. Staring wistfully into the rain. Drinking (soda) alone all night.

the magical girl is cartoonishly bad at cooking so she's always ecstatic when he gets home. The "yay welcome back baby"/"oh god I'm so glad I'm alive I missed you so much" sex lasts DAYS.

he'll still disappear into a hell-dimension for six months at a time or have to kill his way through a corrupt police station periodically, but the point is that he always comes home. And for him, all that matters is he HAS a home to come back to.

the magical girl's team can't understand her taste in men, but once their relationship settles down they can at least admit the antihero makes a GREAT househusband. He loves to cook and clean and do normal boring stuff.

the few that DID learn about her secret identity couldn't get over the fact their cute bubbly girlfriend was actually way stronger than them. (And a few of them also turned out to be evil.)

they've both been through a lot of relationships. The antihero's girlfriends (and a couple wives) keep dying and/or turning out to be evil. While the magical girl's boyfriends keep leaving her because she's not allowed to break the masquerade on purpose, so they think she just disappears sometimes.

they met when they were both going after an evil dark magician type who just barely managed to squeeze into both their genres. The antihero had only JUST started to accept that magic is real, he was NOT prepared for transformation sequences.

his enemies have no defense against her Love Love Peach Beam and HER enemies have no defense against A Fucking Gun

he's all "everything I love is drenched in blood and ash" and she's all "the Power Of Friendship and also a few bounces on it"

I want to do something with a magical girl x a grizzled 90's antihero

Now if only I could program. Or draw pixel art. Or dragons. Or finish projects.

I really like the aesthetics of magic caves, too. The beautiful crystal cavern with an ice-cold pool where the water dragon lives. The bright unnatural lava lake where the red dragon lives. Glowing mushrooms, bats (need that guano!), cat-sized pillbugs for tilling the soil.

And I want the game to have a time limit, say, thirty years from when the knight arrives to when they retire and leave the orchards to the youngsters.
You can matchmake the NPCs as well as romance them. Not every character will be interested in every other character, but there's plenty of options.

A thing that bothers me in farming sims is when time doesn't move. Seasons may change but the characters stay static, so the player can do whatever they want with the NPCs at their own pace. So, to counter that, all the love interests are long-lived and nonhuman (though the non-dragon ones WILL age)

attracting more types of dragons to your mountain with your abundant produce. I'm thinking no more than five because otherwise it would be too hard to write. And vendors should be romanceable too, maybe three or four of those.

But the knight is from a farming family and can see that though the tree is healthy, it isn't THRIVING. It can definitely grow bigger and put out seeds.
This begins the farming portion of the farming sim! Living in the mountain, finding different caverns for planting different "fruit" -

Turns out dragons eat gold and gems in this universe (the knight is a bit of a bumpkin and the others were pranking them), so this tree with its silver bark, gold leaves, and gemstone "fruit" is plenty to keep one dragon satisfied and out of the locals' hair.

Okay so here's my farming sim idea.
A knight is sent to "slay" a dragon, but when they arrive at the mountain village the villagers are all like, "what? no. What's wrong with you?" The knight presses on, and soon finds the dragon in a cavern, serene and beautiful, lying next to a LITERAL MONEY TREE.

idk if I want to stick with the idea I had about a fruit orchard in the garden of eden. I still like doing an orchard but if I'm gonna stick with it I have to pick something I'm more personally into. Like dragons, or orcs.

there are SO many fucking farming sims now. Maybe I *could* learn to make one.
