They work to improve speech, language, voice, and fluency, and swallowing skills. They can work in hospitals, clinics, and private practices.

I was so in awe of her when I read about her during my undergrad studies at University of Houston.

17 states filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government claiming Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act is unconstitutional. Section 504 is all about providing support for those with disabilities and this lawsuit could strip away those essential protections.

My biggest regret was not passing on my ancestors’ language to my children. Will always support and encourage others to do so.
