We are pretty complacent out here, and a lot of people like our MLA, I think my first letter might have caught them off guard, but now they are getting a deluge (and probably orders to ignore us?)

This is a hoot!

My first two letters to our MLA got responses from her assistant, telling me variois things, that Danielle was in Halifax, I should write to the Minister of Culture and she would print out my letter for Danielke's attention. My third letter got the automated response within seconds of being sent.

And some of that was due to the professionalization of museums promoted and brought about by training opportunities shared by the Association of NS Museums programming ansm.ns.ca/track/ which is being cut in half.
