I’m not sure if it’s just age. My aunt (dead 10+ years) was older than mum but loved technology. Mum - not at all. She’s very nervous about scams and get’s overwhelmed. I’m just happy when I can make things easier. I manage her finances so she doesn’t have to fret. She’s very grateful.

Oh I know, sometimes overwhelming.
I had to renew mums newspaper subscription. They no longer take cheques & she didn’t want to give her debit card number over the phone. After 30 mins on the phone it’s now direct debit monthly, I hope. Businesses making it hard for 91 year olds to manage.

I’ve taken to listening to sleep stories (on calm app or similar). Someone with a great voice reading first chapters of Persuasion. Distracting enough to help my monkey brain switch off. Good luck for tonight.
